VINEYARD

อัลซิดินี่ ตั้งอยู่ที่บนเนินเขาใกล้กับอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ ในพื้นที่หมู่บ้านหนองนกกระเต็น ต.วังกะทะ อ.ปากช่อง จ.นครราชสีมา มีนกกระ เต็น (มีชื่อทางวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Alcidinidae) ซึ่งเป็นนกกินปลาประเภทหนึ่งเป็นนกประจำถิ่น จึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อและเครื่องหมายการค้า “Alcidini”

ไร่องุ่นอัลซิดินี่ อยู่สูงกว่าระดับน้ำทะเล 550 เมตร ทำให้ได้รับแดดจัดในตอนกลางวันแต่หนาวเย็นในตอนกลางคืนตลอดทั้งปี มีโครงสร้างชั้นดินเป็นหินลูกรังสีแดงบนโครงสร้างชั้นหินปูน (Terra Rossa, Lime Base) มีคุณสมบัติการระบายน้ำได้ดีเยี่ยมและยังอุดมด้วยแร่ธาตุที่เหมาะแก่การปลูกองุ่นไวน์คุณภาพยอดเยี่ยม

เราเริ่มพัฒนาที่ดินเพื่อเพาะปลูกองุ่นมาตั้งแต่ พ.ศ.2544 โดยคัดสรรสายพันธุ์องุ่นที่เหมาะกับคุณลักษณะเฉพาะหรือTerroir (tair-wah’r) ของไร่เพื่อให้ได้องุ่นคุณภาพยอดเยี่ยมสำหรับการผลิตไวน์คุณภาพยอดเยี่ยมเช่นกัน เช่น Shiraz หรือ Syrah, Muscat Blau, Maroo Seedless เป็นต้น รวมพื้นที่ปลูกองุ่นขณะนี้ประมาณ 50 ไร่จากเนื้อที่รวมทั้งหมดกว่าร้อยไร่

Alcidini is located on hillsides in the vicinity of Khao Yai national park. The vineyard and winery is located in a village called “the swamp of Alcedo”, the sanctuary of native birds “King Fisher” (Scientific name: Alcidinidae). Hence our trade name and logo “Alcidini” is adopted from this scientific name.

Alcidini vineyard and winery site is at the altitude of 550 meter above sea level, very sunny during day time but cool and breezy at night all year round. The soil type of Terra Rossa, Lime Base with ample of minerals, has very good drainage property. This makes it a perfect site for wine grape cultivation for quality wine production.

We started developing the site for wine grape cultivation since 2001. Shiraz/Syrah, Muscat Blau(Blue) and Maroo Seedless grape varieties suitable for the site properties or Terroir (tair-wah’r) are selected. Wine grape planting area now is 20 acres from the total area of more than 40 acres.

นอกจากการคัดสรรสายพันธุ์องุ่นแล้ว เรายังเป็นแห่งเดียวในประเทศไทยที่เลือกใช้ระบบค้างองุ่นแบบตัว U (Lyre Trellising System) ซึ่งทำให้ต้นองุ่นได้รับแสงแดดในปริมาณสูงที่สุดเมื่อเทียบกับค้างองุ่นระบบอื่นๆ อันเป็นผลดีต่อคุณภาพของผลผลิต

Apart from careful attention on wine grape varieties, we are the one and only in Thailand that adopted the Lyre Trellising System which maximized sunlight interception no matter the orientation of the planting rows. This results in quality wine grapes for quality wine production.

นอกจากองุ่นแล้วเรายังปลูกอะโวคาโด้โดยคัดสรรสายพันธุ์คุณภาพดีเยี่ยมที่เหมาะกับภูมิประเทศและภูมิอากาศของไร่ ได้แก่สายพันธุ์ BucanaerและBooth7จากฟลอริดาเป็นส่วนใหญ่และแซมด้วยพันธุ์ Fuerte, Hass และ Peterson เป็นต้น

Apart from wine grapes, we also plant selected varieties of avocado that can adapt well with local conditions and climate. The varieties selected are mostly Bucanaer and Booth7 from Florida, with a few rows of Fuerte, Hass and Peterson.
